Today was one of those days when you wonder if you are going to be able to fit it all in, it started off by getting up and hurrying to help my mom and dad with the Strawberry days Rodeo queen contest, so I quickly got the kids dressed and myself of course and was starting to head out the door when I remembered, I forgot to finish the salad for my nieces baptism this afternoon. So I hurried and pulled what I had started last night out of the fridge and whipped the cream and started to mix everything together and realized that I was out of mandarin oranges, Great! So, I called my sweet friend Ellery and pawned some off from her! Thanks Ell, you saved me. So the salad is finished and off I went to get the gift baskets for the judges up at Kneaders, I get in there and wait in the line, which is never good on a Saturday morning at Kneaders, and finally get the baskets and take off as fast as I can to help my parents set up. I rush in and we get all the things set up, as I was bringing in all the baskets one looked a little different than the others, but I thought oh well, they probably just made them a little differently, no, I stole someone else's basket! Oops! Oh well!
OK, all done helping set everything up and telling my kids to stay out of the strawberries and cheesecake for like the thousandth time, now we are off to do my nieces hair for prom, so I rush back home, pull out the bobby pins and curling iron, and let the curling begin, did I mention my niece has the equivalence of three heads of hair on her head, well she does! But,I think we made record time, and she looked gorgeous and that is all that matters! OK, so now we are off to Gretchen's baptism, we hurry and change and barely make it on time,we slip in just as they are saying the prayer, did I mention Jason is still down helping my parents with the queen contest, and informed me about ten minutes before he will be a little late! So by now my frustration level is high and my patience is so running thin, but I hold the tears in, barely, and just keep going! The baptism was great and we are so proud of Gretchy for making the decision to be baptized, she is such a sweet little spirit and we love her so much! Good job Gretch!
After the baptism, we ran back to our house and grabbed our salad, changed out clothes and were off to the BBQ, which was actually the most relaxing part of the day! The kids got to do a fun pinata and scored a load of candy. And I finally got to eat and see my husband for the first time today! We also got to see Haydn and her date leave for there fun night at prom! And she looked beautiful as you can all see! Hope she has fun! So, I,m seeing a little end in sight, my day is finally slowing down, but Jas did have to head of to work, So I loaded up the car, with one more child than I usually have, because by now Addie and Gretchen have talked me and Lori in to having a late night hang out! Whatever! One more thing, I just remembered, I have to take video's back to the redbox!! Finally, I'm home, and doing what I love best! Blogging! And the day is almost over! Oh crap, I need to plan my primary lesson, it never ends does it! P.S. Brian,I blogged this for you! See I do update.

You should check it out...if you haven't already!
My little boy was baptized today too! So fun! We are headed to Disneyland on Monday morning! He still has NO IDEA! AND we are leaving the twins here with my parents! WooHOO! That should be fun! Next time I come in to town we should totally go to lunch or something!
Wow! Crazy day! Glad i could be there for the oranges! Thats what sisters are there for right?
That makes me tired just listening to all of that. You are the woman though. If anyone could fly through a day like that it would be you. My favorite part is that you took the time too blog it. As you can tell by my blog, I would have been in bed.
You go girl! Now all you need is some spandex and a cape!
I agree with Wendy, if you need to you can borrow my lasso. I wish I could go like you...do you sleep? Haydn looks just like Lori, she looks beautiful. And who is mama fatelli?
being a mom is sometimes so overwhelming and irritating. Being a Mormon mom is even more so. Atleast, as a Mormon mom we know there is an end to all this madness and that all of this family time, and church time and service is a blessing-I think??? Kidding!
