Oh my dear Addie!

Tonight was the big Lindon elementary family dance. Addie has been begging to go, and to be honest I was not planning on going, but she wouldn't let it die, so we decided to go. So we got there and headed down the hall to the gym,and the look on her face, oh my she was so excited, well til we stepped on to the dance floor. Oh my, I was gonna kill her, she threw the biggest baul baby fit I have ever seen. She would not go out on the floor and dance, she clung on to me and would not let go. Her friends kept saying come on Addie, come dance, and she would just freak out more.I was getting so embarrassed, she was so loud! Oh my heck, it was a total joke! No matter what I did we could not get her out there. For those of you who know Addie, this is so dang weird, because she doesn't have a shy bone in her body! She just kept saying, I'm so embarrassed mom, it's not me, I'm not a dancer! And going on and on and on. I'll I know is next time she begs me to go to one of these things I'll be thinking twice. So we ended up dragging her out of kicking and bawling. I'll I can say is "RAGE" kids are so funny sometimes, just when you think you know them pretty well, they throw you a curve ball. So we took her to Sizzler and her attitude instantly changed! Now that's my Addie, just give her a little food and she is happy! Oh Children, you gotta love em!
