We decided we needed a little get away to papa's cabin, and since it was a long weekend we figured why not? But, as we started to drive there, we were starting to second guess ourselves, but we pushed through and finally made it there. We had to leave our van in town at the little store and grandpa had to come get us in the truck, we barely made it in on time. But I have to admit, it was kinda fun to be all snuggled in with a roaring fire, and no where to go. The kids had a total riot playing in the snow,(even though they forgot their snow clothes, shocker)! And we got caught up on some much needed R and R! We were kinda hoping the snow plows wouldn't come and we would have to stay there til it all melted off, but not so lucky! Oh well! Fun times anyway! Happy President's day!
