Well this is a the second time that I am doing my Easter post because for some odd reason my pictures blitzed! Nothing makes me more mad! Aah! Anyhoo, This will be condensed, because my copy/paste didn't work either! Always my luck! Easter was great, we had such a fun time with family, we had our Annual Smith Easter picnic at my Uncle Craig's, and thank heavens we did, cuz he has a nice little shed and it rained pretty good! But we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and had a fun little Easter egg hunt with all the kiddo's! Then Sunday we went to church and came home and found eggs and baskets! A funny little story though, Adds is my little SNOOP know days, and because of the rain, I decided to let Jason hide all the stuff when he got home from doing his grave yard shift. So, I just put all of the baskets and stuff in the downstairs closet and figured it would be just fine. Well... I thought wrong! Adds, got up a little early to "look around" she says "Mom, I think, I'm not sure, but I think the Easter bunny hide my basket in the closet" Ya think Adds, that little mutt, I cant hide anything from her. So I told Jas to head home after Sacerment meeting and to hide the baskets and eggs for reals! So we get home and Addie and Holden were dying to go and find them. And do you think miss Addie was surprised when she ran to the closet and there was no basket! Hum, I must have been wrong, she said, Very confused I will add! Well Hold found his without a hitch, but Addie's got hidden extra good! Well after what seemed like hours of searching for her basket,she was for sure the bunny had forgot her! we told her, the only way something like that would happen was if she had snooped! You should have seen the panic come over her face! And the automatic tear machine start!It was classic! You see Adds, Mom and dad will always get you back! To make a long story short she finally found her basket! And was completely relieved, But it was pretty funny! We are mean parents, I know! We are just doing what our parents did to us!:) the rest of the day was so nice, dinner at mom and dads where we made ourselves sick by stuffing our pie holes and ended the day with a night cap at Brent and Connie's! It was such a fun day!
I'm so grateful for the spirit of Easter, I feel so blessed to have the gospel in my life, I'm so grateful for the Resurrection of our savior, and the atonement in my life! I'm so grateful for my family and the best friends in the world! I love you all and hope you had a super day!
