Girls night out!
Last night me and my girlfriends from high school (were missing a few of us)got together and ate at our traditional place, The Olive Garden. It's been a tradition for years, I don't know why, it's just were we always ended up. It was so good to see all of you gals and catch up on each others lives. It's so sad we all live so close to each other and don't see each other that much.
When I got home, Jason asked how it was and what did we talk about? I had to kinda laugh as I told him, our conversations girls, we are getting so old, I thought I would highlight some of my fav's, just for those of you who missed out, so you can feel like you were there....(Kallee,Kenz, Janean and Jen)
1. By dang our kids will NOT have cell phones tell they are older, it's ridiculous, kids these days!
2.The young girls now days, what are they wearing? Trash! My kids will never wear that! We never did! (We were perfect!) :)
3.This new Facebook thing, are you on it? Will you be my friend?
4.All of our old classmates who have ended up in jail or addicted to drugs. (Always good gossip, and I'll have you know I came and confirmed a few online.)
5.I'm getting old, this pregnancy is so much harder than the others, is it cuz I'm 32 now? And then we all look at Rakell! (Our own personal ask a nurse!) And then proceed to talk about all of our other medical woes!
*These are just a few, but I laid in bed and kinda giggled to myself, that in ways how much we have changed, and then in ways, how so much is still the same! Ill always be me, your own personal gossip, I know it all, I'm updated on all things, including everyone in towns lives, what there doing, were they live. Yadda, yadda, yadda. But, Im a hairstylist and a blogger, so this is just my calling in life! Then there is our sweet Misti, always cluing in a few minutes late, but that's why we love her! And Jeanette, always keeping us real, the peacemaker. Never sees the bad in anyone. Then there is Nicole, who always seems to cheerfully be dancing her way through life, no matter what is thrown her way, and always has great advice for all! Rakell, What can say about Rakell, she will always be honest with ya, no matter what the outcome, and I have always loved that about her, she's just real and always has been, doesn't care what anyone thinks, take me as I am. Or don't I don't care! And last but not least, Keri, A stalwart in all she does, never wavers from what she believes, but lets not forget her smart ass comments she loves to throw in every once and awhile, and Ill leave you with one from last night... "Well girls, its been fun, now lets all go and find a pair of jeans that fit us all and we can trade them every week!"
I love you girls, and I'm so thankful for our friendships, thanks for the fun last night and lets keep it going for years to come!
