My little burn victem
My poor Addie, all I can say is I'm so sorry for passing this gene on to you sweetie! This is WITH sunscreen on! I was lathering her up the other night with aloe and had to take a picture, it brought back so many horrible memories as a kid! This is what summer was like for me, all I can say is Add's is much better than I was, i started to boycott swimming because I new this would be the outcome! Not Add's she is a die hard. Believe it or not she wanted to swim the next day! And she did, fully clothed!

I am so sorry! For both of you. I don't tan well either, I burn, but not like that with suncreen. Hope it heals soon.
Amen my red-headed sistas! I can totally feel her pain! I think my boys can get tan. . .but I'm such a sunblock nazi I don't really know how tan they could get. I'm just still sunaphobic because I, too, was traumatically burned so much as a kid!
HOLY SMOKES! I almost cried just looking at it! So did Jake, my 8 year old (he is standing here next to me).

i'm in pain just looking at it!!! talk about tan lines!:) I'll never forget one school dance we all went skiing for the day activity and cole and heather got so burned, in there picture they had the worst racoon eyes!:)
That looks so painful, at least she has some cool tan lines!
Poor Poor Addie! I don't know what was worse for her- posing for this picture or the actual sunburn. That's sad.
Oh Addie Jo your mother did curse you with that trait. I am so sorry! I remember your mommy with blisters on her butt from a horrible sunburn at girls camp!

Poor thing!! That looks like it hurts. SHe is such a trooper to go out the next day and go swimming. Hopefully as she gets older it will get better and she wont burn as easily! Poor Addie!
I don't know what is more painful, that burn, or the fact that Robyn spelled "victim" like that..You are killing me..
Ouch....poor thing. It looks so painful. Maybe she should opt for one of those cute swim or board shirts...whatever they are called.

OH MY MISERABLE! That seems like beyond what I could handle. She is tough stuff!
OUCH!!!! I swear kids are so tuff! You know we would be in tears and wanting to die and there she is wanting back out to swim!!!
Ouch! That is my life story too! Now I am going to have skin cancer cause I was trying all my life to be tan! Paul didn't remember you tripping at the bb game...dang it!

I remember you getting burned just like his at girls camp. They had you float on an inner tube with your behind in the water late into the night. We were all eating dinner and there was the red-headed Robyn out floating in the lake.
