I'm a pioneer woman!

So it's that time again, time for me to bring out the old pioneer roots and start the canning! Actually this is a huge turn on for Jason, he really thinks there is nothing sexier than me in this apron! Anyway, Grandma and Grandpa Bullock's tomatoes FINALLY came on and of course we mooched a few! I swear grandpa Bullock can grow some of the best tomatoes in town! Last year we decided to experiment and make salsa, low and behold it was delish! And we ended up eating every bottle we did, which by the way was like 30 pints. So it was time to replenish the shelves! I just hope this batch is as good as last years! I have to admit though after its all said and done its fun to look in my cold storage and think, I did that! It makes me feel a little more prepared, even if all we have is salsa!:)
